The Alkek Library and the Division of Information Technology at Texas State University will host Alkek Technology Day Sept. 27, discussing technology resources currently offered, or to be offered in the future, as a part of Innovation Week.

The event is free and open to the public, starting at 9 a.m.

Alkek Technology Day will provide workshops and a 360-minute innovation challenge. The workshops range from learning about coding to experiencing different levels of virtual reality.

The 360-minute innovation challenge will run 4:30-11 p.m. The challenge asks a team of students to record a video presentation proposing their solution concerning real-world issues involving the use of technology and innovation. Students and faculty wanting to participate in the workshops or the challenge are asked to register in advance in order to reserve a spot.
