The Texas State 2020 Elections Task Force and the Department of Athletics at Texas State University will host a #BeTheChange voter registration drive-in Monday, Oct. 5 in the University Events Center parking lot.

The event will run 8 a.m.-8 p.m., and feature Texas State student-athletes, cheerleaders and Boko the Bobcat.

In observance of COVID-19 safety precautions, participants wishing to register don't need to get out of their vehicles. Volunteers will come to vehicle windows safely to help get participants registered to vote. Oct. 5 is the registration deadline for anyone wishing to vote in the November presidential election.

The registration drive-in is free and open to students, faculty, staff and community members. It is sponsored by the Texas State Voter Friendly Campus Team, Move Texas, Texas Rising, Young Conservatives of Texas State and College Democrats.
