Dark comedy 'Imagine That' tells dramatic tale of alligator roommate

SAN MARCOS – Texas State University’s Department of Theatre and Dance will present Imagine That by Audrey Webb Oct. 11-14 at the PSH Foundation Studio Theatre.

Performances will be held at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 11-13, with a 2 p.m. matinee Oct. 14.

Imagine That is a dark comedy that tells the story of a middle-aged couple, Doug and Bernice, who are dealing with an alligator under their home. Doug and Bernice are struggling with their perceived successes and failures while dealing with the alligator. The two characters analyze just how threatening their newfound roommate is and debate who must face death.

Texas State graduate student Alex Rodriquez will direct the production.
