Fellow Bobcats,

As we continue to navigate the unprecedented challenges associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, President Trauth and the university senior leadership team are meeting routinely to stay up to date on the rapidly changing situation. We are sharing information in as timely a manner as possible.

Our top concern is your health and wellness. We hope that you and your family are doing well given these trying circumstances. Undoubtedly, you are dealing with significant stress caused by the uncertainty and disruptions surrounding the pandemic and the various levels of response to it.

One of the ways we are trying to reduce that uncertainty is by sharing information on our coronavirus webpage. We constantly update the page as we learn new information and make decisions that will impact you. To address the many questions you have regarding leave usage and time off, please see the new online list of frequently asked questions.

Three important exceptions to policy that we are implementing for the remainder of the spring 2020 semester are more flexible rules around work from home, leave usage for child care if schools are closed, and accessing the sick leave pool if this specific leave is exhausted.

We appreciate your patience and acts of caring as we continue supporting one another through these turbulent times.
