Texas State hosts spring Graduate and Professional School Fair

SAN MARCOS – The Graduate College and Career Services at Texas State University will host the Graduate and Professional School Fair on Monday, February 12 in the LBJ Student Center.
The browse session of the fair will run from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. while concurrent information sessions will run from 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. The fair is free and open to all students.
The Graduate and Professional School Fair provides prospective students with an opportunity to meet and interact with graduate advisors from various schools and departments as well as explore Texas State's 100 master's and doctoral programs.
Universities elsewhere in Texas and beyond will also participate. Approximately 40 programs from other institutions will be represented at the fair. This will provide prospective graduate students the chance to shop for programs that are not offered at Texas State and also to compare programs offered statewide.
The following information sessions will be held in LBJ Student Center 3-14.1:
- Graduate School and You
10-10:30 a.m. - Financing Graduate Education
10:30-11 a.m. - GRE Strategy Session
11:30 a.m.-noon - Financial Aid
12:30-1 p.m. - Graduate Application Process
1-1:30 p.m. - Doctoral Studies Session
2-2:30 p.m. - Standardized Test Prep Resources
2:30-3 p.m. - Graduate Studies and Your Career
3-3:30 p.m. - Campus Tour
3:30 p.m. outside LBJSC 3-14.1.
