Pulitzer-winning author to hold reading, signing at Wittliff Collections

Author Stephen Dunn will hold readings and book signings at Texas State University’s Wittliff Collections on Thursday, March 30, and the Katherine Ann Porter Literary Center on Friday, March 31.

The Wittliff signing will be at 3:30 p.m. on the seventh floor of the Alkek Library. The KAP Literary Center reading will be at 7:30 p.m. in Kyle.

Dunn is the author of 16 books, including the Pulitzer Prize-winning Different Hours. He is the recipient of a Guggenheim fellowship, a Rockefeller fellowship and three fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts. In addition to his books, his writing has appeared in The Atlantic, The Nation, New Republic and the New Yorker, among other publications. Dunn is currently a Distinguished Professor of Creative Writing at Richard Stockton College in New Jersey, where he has taught since 1974.

The event is sponsored by the Burdine Johnson Foundation, the Wittliff Collections, the Lindsey Reading Series and the Department of English at Texas State.
