The new issue of Hillviews is now available in print and digital format. The digital issue is available at www.hillviews.txstate.edu.

The cover story—Ramping Up Research—is about undergraduate research and how Texas State students are getting some unique opportunities. The story profiles four students from the Honors College, what they are doing, and how they got there.

Inside, meet Cale Cox and Robert Bardwell. Cox took his business degree and applied it to a career with the Baltimore Orioles. Bardwell had a childhood dream of riding rockets into space. Today, he works for NASA designing the Space Launch System. Heloise is a nationally-syndicated household hints columnist, but did you know she is a Bobcat? As a Texas State student she studied to be a math teacher.

Coach Karen Chisum's roots at Texas State go all the way back to 1968 when she was a freshman here. Today, Chisum is the sixth-winningest head coach in Division I Volleyball. And speaking of Bobcats... how much do you know about Boko? Boko By the Numbers looks at some fun facts about the university's mascot.

Fans of Harry Potter may be surprised to discover that the game of quidditch is a popular club sport at Texas State. The team is part of the Department of Campus Recreation.

Hillviews, published three times a year, is distributed to members of the Alumni Association and the Family Association. The digital edition is available for free to everyone.
