The Office of University Marketing at Texas State University has launched a newly-redesigned Discover website at www.txstate.edu/discover.

The purpose of the site is to digitally broadcast the high-level, and often under-exposed, research that occurs daily at Texas State. It is the digital portion of a much larger integrated marketing campaign that includes a two-page spread in Texas Monthly, engaging video featuring our talented researchers, and strategic social media exposure.

"Our team works collaboratively to produce all the assets in-house," said Michael Edelstone in University Marketing. "I'd like our campus editors and designers to know what is possible with a little planning and some consultation with our department. It's basically win-win-win-win."

The previous Discover site was designed and developed in 2011. The new site features a modernized design, addresses the needs of users--which have evolved since 2011--and is tailored for improved mobile access and interaction. There are also updates to fonts and colors and coding changes that simplify web publishing and site maintenance.
