The Graduate College and Career Services at Texas State University have partnered to host the Graduate and Professional School Fair Monday, Feb. 16 in the LBJ Student Center.

The fair will run from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and is free and open to students.

The Graduate and Professional School Fair provides prospective students with an opportunity to meet and interact with graduate advisors from various schools and departments across the campus and to explore Texas State's nearly 100 master's and doctoral programs.

Information sessions will be held at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and noon in LBJ Student Center room 3-14.1; a presentation on the graduate application process will be at 1 p.m. in room 3-14.1; and a 2 p.m. campus tour will meet outside of room 3-14.1.

This year’s Graduate Fair marks the first time universities elsewhere in Texas and beyond will participate. Approximately 25 programs from other institutions will be represented at the fair. The fair will provide undergraduate students with opportunities to shop for programs that Texas State does not offer, in addition to allowing them to compare Texas State programs to those offered by other institutions. Students will also have the opportunity to learn about financial aid and standardized tests.

Registration is free and students may register to attend the fair and the information sessions on graduate studies by going to www.gradcollege.txstate.edu/fair/reg.html.
