Undergraduate Academic Center hosts Qualitative Research Conference

Texas State University will host the second annual Texas State Qualitative Research Conference 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Dec. 7 at the Undergraduate Academic Center.

The event is free and open to the public.

The conference will feature a number of informal breakout sessions and a keynote speech by Mirka Koro-Ljungberg, professor of qualitative research with the School of Human Development and Organizational Studies in Education at the University of Florida. Her presentation is titled, “Traveling Qualitative Research.”

The conference is sponsored by the Department of Counseling, Leadership, Adult Education and School Psychology; Department of Curriculum and Instruction; Office of the Provost; Graduate Organization for Leadership Development in School Improvement and the International Journal of Leadership Education.
