Larry Price, professor in the College of Education at Texas State University-San Marcos was recently inducted as a Division 5 Fellow in the American Psychological Association at the annual meeting in Washington, D.C.

Fellow status is an honor awarded to APA members who have shown evidence of unusual and outstanding contributions or performance in the field of psychology.
Members’ work must have a national impact on the field of psychology beyond a local, state or regional level.

“One additional contribution that helped support my Fellow award is the work I have recently published on pioneering new statistical methods in neuroscience, specifically by developing new mathematical models for fMRI data with the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio,” said Price.

APA is a scientific and professional organization that represents psychology in the United States. It is also the largest association of psychologists worldwide.
