Beginning in mid-December, the Texas State-San Marcos Department of Theatre and Dance will present the family-friendly holiday fable “A Monster Carol.”

Written and directed by Dwight Markus, “A Monster Carol” will hold performances at 1 and 5 p.m. Dec. 12-13, as well as additional performances at 7 p.m. on Dec. 14-15. All performances will be held on the main stage of the Theatre Center on Texas State Campus.

“A Monster Carol” is set in Vincent’s House of Wax, home of scary monsters. Vincent’s is no ordinary museum of wax figures, though, for when the doors are locked the wax statues come to life and experience their own twisted version of the Dickens holiday classic. In this family comedy for the holidays, the audience will come to find out what funny things happen when Christmas mixes with Halloween.

Admission is $6 for the general public, $5 with Monster Coupon or Texas State ID. For additional information contact (512) 245-2147.
