Faculty, alumni to perform on PBS with Conspirare

Three Texas State University-San Marcos School of Music faculty members and one alumnus will appear in the PBS program titled “A Company of Voices: Conspirare in Concert” 7 p.m. March 11 on KLRU.

The one-hour choral concert will be rebroadcast Sunday, March 15 at both 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.

Professor Ian Davidson is featured as an oboist and lecturer Faith Debow is the accompanist. Singing are assistant professor Cynthia I. Gonzales and alumnus Ashley George.

The program was filmed at Austin's Long Center for the Performing Arts before a live audience last October and is being broadcast by PBS stations nationwide this spring.
