Opera Theatre presents Mozart’s ‘The Magic Flute’

The Texas State University-San Marcos Opera Theatre and Symphony Orchestra will perform “The Magic Flute,” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart April 11-12, at 7:30 p.m. and April 13, at 2 p.m.

The event will be held at the San Marcos High School Performing Arts Center at 2601 E. McCarty Lane in San Marcos.

The performance will take audience members on a fantastical journey to rescue a princess from evil.  The show will be a light-hearted, action-filled romp complete with an exotic queen, spirits, sorcery, a beautiful princess, a handsome prince and a lovelorn ornithologist.
