The Department of Theatre and Dance at Texas State University-San Marcos will play host to David Lindsay-Abaire’s comedic gem Fuddy Meers Oct. 18-21.

Directed by Eleisa Jordan, performances will be Oct. 18-20 at 7:30 p.m. and Oct. 21 at 2 p.m. at the PSH Foundation Studio Theatre in the Theatre Center on campus.

This madcap comedy traces one woman’s attempt to regain her memory while surrounded by an increasingly strange array of characters.  New York reviewers praised the play as “a dark, sweet, and thoroughly engaging comedy” that is “zany, wicked fun.”

Due to subject matter, the play is recommended for mature audiences.

Admission is $8 for the general public and $5 for students with a Texas State ID. Tickets can be purchased at the University Box Office in the Theatre Center, located at the corner of Moon Street and University Drive and available by phone at (512) 245-2204.
