SAN MARCOS – Texas State University's Transportation Services has announced that Kerrville Bus Company will begin providing weekend transportation from San Marcos to Austin, Grand Prairie, Waco, Dallas and Houston for students, faculty and staff.

Kerrville Bus Company is a charter and transportation service that has provided low-cost shuttle services across Texas for more than 80 years. The shuttle is furnished with on-board restrooms, reclining seats and free Wi-Fi. Round trip fees will start at $10, plus a transaction fee.

The college shuttle will leave on Fridays and return Sundays starting Sept. 14 through Nov. 18.  Peak periods such as holidays will increase pricing rates.

“Prices will vary depending on how early the trip is booked,” Steven Herrera, Director of Transportation Services said. “Book your trip as soon as possible.”

Students taking the bus will meet at the LBJ Student Center bus loop. For more information about purchasing tickets and the pickup/drop-off locations, visit the Kerrville Bus Company website at www.iridekbc.com/college-transport.html.
